About Muah

   

I was born in Suffolk, Virginia, 17 years ago. Soon after my arrival to earth I moved to a hot and ghetto Yuma, Arizona. When I was 13 my mom and step-dad brought us to Tucson so they could finish college at the U of A. I went to Cross and then came, here, to CDO. Along the way I’ve been involved with girls’ scouts, choir, sports, and art. Art is the one thing that has stuck with me all these years.

            A lot of things in my life, and others’, inspire me in my art: The weather, my home life, the news..life. Drawing, painting and photography are my passions. I love trying to create something new every time I draw, along with amplifying, and capturing raw emotions. As well as creating my own, I enjoy admiring others’ work. Juergen Teller, Pablo Picasso, and M.C. Escher are a few of my favorite artists. I hope to one day have people appreciate my art as much as I appreciate theirs’.

            I don’t want to be rich or famous; I just want my tiny voice (my art) to be noticed in this large, vast world of ours. A lot of people try to make a living out of art. I’m one of those people. It’s the only good thing I know how to do. So that’s what I’m going to try, at least, to do.
